I teach hospitality, culture, cuisine, statistics, analytics, and applied data science with a focus on whole-person formation, student agency, and real-world usefulness.
Energy makes learning contagious
The best teachers in my life transmitted their own passions. I try to bring that same energy to food, culture, statistics, hospitality, and data.
Students should learn how to take the wheel
I want students to see themselves as active learners who can use modern tools, including AI, responsibly and effectively rather than fall behind people who do.

Professor Mana is incredibly lively and not once did I experience a dull lesson. He is attentive to all students, and makes sure to include everyone. Though he is much younger than most other professors I've had before, he is no less knowledgeable. Mana is great, and I would take another course with him again!
